Here are some completely useless trivia facts for this weeks' upcoming game....

SERIES RECORD: Eagles lead 46-26-3. While we are 17-19-1 at home, we are 8-25-2 on the road and 1-2 at neutral sites.

CURRENT STREAK: Steelers have lost five of the last seven, dating to 1979.

LAST MEETING: Nov. 7, 2004. Steelers 27, Eagles 7.

LAST STEELERS VICTORY: Nov. 7, 2004. Steelers 27, Eagles 7.

LAST EAGLES VICTORY: Nov. 12, 2000. Eagles 26, Steelers 23 (OT).

STEELERSí BIGGEST MARGIN OF VICTORY: 31 (31-0 on November 29, 1959).

STEELERSí BIGGEST MARGIN OF DEFEAT: 42 (45-3 on November 4, 1945).

MEMORABLE GAME(S): The Steelers had a real chance to win the NFLís Eastern Division title in 1963, but they couldnít beat the last-place Eagles in either of the games in the home-and-home series. The teams tied both times ó 21-21 in September in Philadelphia and 20-20 in December in Pittsburgh.

STAT WORTH NOTING: From 1933-69 (37 seasons), these teams met 66 times. In the 38 seasons from 1970-2007, they met nine times.
Personally, I think it will be a close, low-scoring game. Hopefully the O-line can protect Ben and his "sore" shoulder... The defense will win this game for us, IMO.
