So what is everyone eating today? I'm making some "tailgate" food...Chicken wings...thai chili glaze and a buffalo ranch chicken dip. Drinking a diet rock star.
How about you guys?

...The "crab-stuffed shrimp" don't do well on the grill, so I did them yesterday in the oven for college ball.... Today is just straight BBQ shrimp skewers (complete with pineapple wedges in them).... The shrimp are the "12-16" count/pound.... "Good Eats!!!"....

I had to go to a bar to watch the game. Bar food = expensive crap, so all i did was drink beer.
Now that I'm home, I can eat the fruits of my morning labor:
Salad comprised of: tomatoes, cucumber, onion, basil, mint, balsamic vingegar, and olive oil. Served with a fresh as hell baguette.
And since I'm in the mood, I ordered me some hot wings too..... mmmm hmmm
shame I have to watch Panthers/Chargers instead of Cowgirls/Skidmarks...

Btw, next home game, i'm making some shrimp quesadillas and margaritas....

Sweet Thai Chili sauce (like Magai)
Hot Chili garlic sauce/paste (like Sri)
Ginger paste (not too much)
Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Very very good.

for the first time ever, i started my steelers season with a big breakfast at 1:05 pm. two eggs, hearty sourdough toast, OJ, thick-cut bacon...
then, once the ass-whomping started I cracked a sam adams BOSTON lager in honor of the lead cheater getting knocked out of game 1.

I don't know what my husband puts on them while cooking, but I think
it's a lot of dry spices at first and then he finishes them wtih a homemade
sauce he makes.
He can really cook great ribs!
