2008 forecast
Vic Carucci: The Steelers' offense has some new additions that should help Ben Roethlisberger maintain his high level of production. Their defense put up some impressive statistics last season, but it has to stop giving up big drives in the fourth quarter. Prediction: 10-6

Thomas George: The big, strong, power-flavored Steelers find too many opponents this season beating them with speed. Prediction: 10-6

Pat Kirwan: The Browns are closing in but until they beat Pittsburgh it's still the Steelers' division. Ben Roethlisberger will put up big passing numbers as this offense evolves into a spread pass attack. I'm not sure the offensive line can protect Big Ben, especially without Alan Fanaca, but they win the division. Prediction: 10-6

Gil Brandt: The Steelers still look to win with the formula of running the ball and playing solid defense, but they've added some pop in the passing game. Still the best team in the division, but they will miss guard Alan Faneca and injured punter Daniel Sepulveda. Prediction: 10-6
