I saw one those and they look cool, but I have one of these to control everything:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remot ... 7&cl=us,en (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/universal_remotes/devices/377&cl=us,en)

So I'll have to pass.

Doesn't get much more universal that thing.

And I have the "cheap" one! I love my Harmony remote! Nothing like pushing a button that says "watch movie" and having everything go on that needs to be on AND on the proper settings...and everything go off that doesn't need to be on. Press "watch tv" or any of the other buttons...same deal!

That would be nice. If I want to watch porn, I mean movie, I have to turn the DVD on, turn on the surround sound, switch the input on the TV which means picking up 3 remotes. One button to do it all would be sweet.

I got mine for $99 on Amazon. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour to set up. Once you have it programmed, if it doesn't work exactly like it should you press the "help" button and it walks you through the steps to rectify it...and then remembers the corrections!

The only reason the set up is a bit time consuming is because you need the info on all of your components...type, brand and model number.

Okay, then...if you don't want it, then I want the Steelers remote that DirecTV was supposed to send to stlrz d, and I don't even have DirecTV anymore. A Steeler remote is cool enough that I'd like to have one next to my couch, even if it entirely non-functional. :tt2 :Steel :tt1

stlrz d, is there any way to find out if it would work with a Samsung DTB-H260F HD
Tuner?

I have Direct tv, but use the samsung to recieve over-the-air HD locals. It's a 3 remote
job to switch the audio and video from HDMI to Component and vice versa
every time I want to flip between OTA and satellite. :HeadBanger

Ms. ProudPittsburgher sprung her surprise on my right before the Steelers game on Saturday. :Boobs I mean the remote fellas, get your minds out of the gutter. :Beer Anyway, it's real nice, doesn;t do much more than the regular remote, but it's very ice, and they have added a light feature that you can activate on the side of the remote. a backlight illuminates upon button pressing. Kinda nice. Is it worth the money, probably not, but they are limited, from what I heard, so if you don't get it while it lasts, you are out of luck.

Why did they even bother giving the Bungles as an option. They could've saved the trouble, I highly doubt they will sell any. The Bengals aren't projected to be a 10 win team so their fans all took a header off the 3 wheeled, oil leaking, overheated bandwagon. What a bloody mess, like Palmer.

And do you get a large turd with buttons if you order the Browns remote?

If there is a Pooh TV and a Pooh DVD player and a Pooh cell phone, there must be a Pooh remote. Oh, wait...did I spell "Poo" wrong?

Kudos to the Ms. for thinking about her man......I had to order mine myself.
When I mentioned this to my wife she said "why do we need another remote?" :Blah I said "I didn't know we had another Steeler remote hanging around?" :tt2 Let's just say the argument ended there and I should be receiving my new remote any day now.

Oh great, I can just hear it now...

"Honey, could you pre-heat the oven, please?"

"I can't find the remote. Do you really expect me to get up off the couch and turn the dials by hand?"

Wellll, considering I pay for the Sunday Ticket and pretty much
rule the TV during football season, I think it might totally
emasculate my husband if I were to confiscate his otherwise
treasured remote control and replace it with one so clearly made
for my Steeler fan hands only!

Besides, no point in piscing off the cook on Sundays! His babyback
ribs are out of this world! :Cheers
