This is completely football unrelated, but I couldn't resist:

The Cincy and Cleveland fans love to act like we have a huge unemployment rate, when in fact they have it worse.

Hey man, not all of Ohio sucks! It is tough here though as far as the job market. If you don't work in sales, in a factory or for yourself, you're pretty much stuck working in retail. I have friends who have been downsized and now they can't find anything anywhere that is comparable to their skills. I guess it's probably tough everywhere but NE Ohio is really in a depressive state.

Easy bro...remember, we're all Steelers fans and, so long as we can pay the freight, it's all good. Right now, things are rough all over.

Guess I got carried away there. It's easy to forget that home fans exist in rival states.

I've lived in both states and they're similar in alot of ways...except for Cleveland which simply does suck!

This is just sad:

http://www.forbes.com/2008/08/04/econom ... dying.html (http://www.forbes.com/2008/08/04/economy-ohio-michigan-biz_cx_jz_0805dying.html)

The Youngstown area alone lost 28,000 people since 2000. Can't say I've never thought
about leaving. But my roots are here and I'm stubborn, so this is where I'll die.

The good news is that General Motors is putting about 350 million into the local plant to
start building the Chevrolet Cruze in 2010. This is a huge boost to morale because our
whole economy pretty much revolves around this plant and effects everyone somehow.

Hopefully this good fortune can be a catalyst towards other economic development, but
I wouldn't hold my breath that it's going to turn things around and we'll be as prosperus
as we were 35 years ago.

So don't forget to buy a Cruze in 2010. :Boobs

I'll read the article later. Leaving for a weekend in Toronto and Buffalo in a few minutes. But I have seen how the economy in Y-Town has nosedived and it is sad. The news is good for GM Lordstown though, and it should be a boost to the western part of Y-Town/Warren.

By the time I'm in the market for a new car again, the Cruze should be in production, so I'll keep it in mind. Keeping a few sheckels in Ohio is a good thing, especially if it goes to Y-Town.
