I love this quote...the kid said...

"Quite a few people in the world have seen my penis," he says from his home in Los Angeles. "So that's kinda cool".

If that was me, I would milk that fame as much as possible. Inspirational public
speaking, autograph signing shows, bobble head dolls, you name it.

That would be a little ironic, wouldn't it? Diving for a dollar bill on an album cover, then
17 years later trying to cash in any way I could.

Here's something for you, NKy. I remember the exact moment I heard Kurt Coban died.
We were driving back home from Kentucky Horse Park    and I heard
it on the radio somewhere around that stupid water tower before we crossed back into Ohio.

It's funny how we remember stuff like that. I wasn't a huge Cobain/Nirvana/grunge fan
at the time, but I was a freshman in high school and I remember some girls actually crying
over his death in class.

I told those hoe cakes to shut up and listen to Tupac.

I was in college & like you, not a big grunge fan. I liked Soundgarden & LOVED Alice in Chains, but never really got into Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or the Smashing Pumpkins.

That's funny about your the girls you went to high school with crying.
I wonder if those same girls today can remember where they were when Cobain died??

That can mean 1 of 2 things. The news either ruined the mood or gave you something to think about.

No need to elaborate!!!

I still remember drunkenly wondering into the basement of my Fratenity house late one night and catching the video for Smells Like Teen Spirit. "Who the Hell is this?" was my first thought followed by this is awesome!

I thought Lithium or Breed were better songs off that album though.

Heavier then Heaven is a great autobiography about Cobain. Very interesting. Weird dude with a lot of artistic talent.

   LOL! ....That tower used to say "Florence Mall" (it's right next to the shopping mall), but the government got into a tizzy about local advertisements on it, so they just took away the "M" and substituted for it..... And yes, it is stupid!...
