Specter wants investigation
Friday, June 06, 2008
From local and wire dispatches
Sen. Arlen Specter reiterated his call for the NFL to initiate an independent investigation into Spygate.

The Pennsylvania Republican entered a statement yesterday into the Congressional Record concerning the New England Patriots' videotaping scandal that repeated many of the points he made in a May 14 news conference, including a push for an investigation similar to the Mitchell Report that examined performance enhancing drugs in baseball.

Any investigation that would not be in the hands of the commish would be welcomed. I hope that this doesn't get shoved under the rug.

Be aware of a huge donation to Patrick Leahy's campaign Fund or sponsored PAC from Reebok in Mass. and the topic of NFL Anti Trust infringments will never be brought up before the Committee.
