It seems although that past several years there been at least one draft pick that doesn't make the team and gets cut. Out of our draft, who do you predict could / will get caught.

1 23 (23) Rashard Mendenhall RB Illinois
2 22 (53) Limas Sweed WR Texas
3 25 (88) Bruce Davis OLB UCLA
4 31 (130) Tony Hills OT Texas
5 21 (156) Dennis Dixon QB Oregon
6 22 (188) Mike Humpal LB Iowa
6 28 (194) Ryan Mundy FS West Virginia

Also, yahoo has video highlights of each:

Humpal or Mundy.... The others are either top pics, have a large potential, or at a position where we need them moreso...

This is easy...Humpall.

Mundy has a chance because they could cut Carter to save some dough.

Dixon ends up on IR to protect him from other teams & save a roster spot.

Yeah, I agree on this. Plus, it's going to be tough to find a spot at Lb.

I think Mundy has a chance to be a solid contributer down the road

If I were a veteran on the bubble I'd be worried. The Steelers drafted some very good football players in the draft. I'd keep a younger Mundy over Carter, Humpal for STs (for now) and Dixon to be the eventual replacement for Batch. The others are almost guaranteed a spot.

The veterans have to be looking in the rear view mirror this year.

I'm not sold on this Mendenhall character. Sorry, no else busted out the smart a$s card, so I was much obliged to fill in.

Anyway, I could see these guys all making it. Fresh blood. If you twist my arm/put a gun to my head, Humpty Humpall.

Either and or both of the two sixes...

Dixon will be stashed on the IR or PUP.

Humpal will be on roster if he shows he can play Special Teams. Both Arnold Harrison and Andre Frazier are completely underwhelming and I would like to see both gone.

Mundy IMHO will be the odd man out.

Agree with this. I think he makes the team as a Special temas beast and the occassional back up if needed.

I think the first 5 picks are as much of a "lock" as possible for a rookie. I'd be nervous if I was an on the bubble vet.
