Report: Steelers Rookie CB Terry Hawthorne Needed Bone Chips Removed From Knee

Updating a report from earlier in the day, David Todd of ESPN 970 Radio has learned that Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Terry Hawthorne needed a procedure done on his injured knee to remove bone chips and that he could be sidelined until training camp as a result.

Steelers Rookie CB Terry Hawthorne On Crutches Following Wednesday Practice

Unfortunately we have more injury news to pass along to you following the conclusion of the Pittsburgh Steelers second OTA practice of the 2013 season that took place on Wednesday. Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is now reporting via Twitter that rookie cornerback Terry Hawthorne is on crutches with apparent right knee discomfort.
